Latteplus UG is a movie production company based in Berlin. It is in business with the realization of audio-visual products and stood out recently thanks to its high production value projects. The first movie produced by the Company was BUTTERFLIES IN BERLIN, an animated short about Holocaust and Gender Identity. The movie was awarded all around the world and selected in more than 120 Festival. It was main protagonist of many initiatives for the Memorial Week at the Italian Embassy in Berlin and screened in many schools in Italy and Germany. It is broadcasting on RAI-Play in Italy, Here Tv in USA, VOD365 in UK and Sooner in rest of Europe. In 2020 Latteplus realised the feature film SPACE BEYOND, an essay documentary in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), set on the International Space Station. It was broadcasted by Sky Arte, it’s on the catalogue of NowTV, Sooner and Vod365 in all Europe. Space Beyond has been shortlisted for Nastri D’Argento (Italy's most important critics' award) and was the opening film at the documentary section of Taormina Film Festival 2021. In 2022, Latteplus collaborated again with the European Space Agency (ESA): the short film MÅNGATA won the ESA New World Competition Fund. It premiered during the Cannes Film Festival 2023 in the AfroCannes showcase and selected in more than 90 festivals, included the Oscar qualifying Krakow FF, Tehran ISFF, LA Shorts IFF, Chicago Children IFF, Hawaii IFF and Rotterdam FF. In October 2024 it was released on Disney+.

About me

Born in 1988, Antonio graduated in 2010 in History of Cinema at RomaTre University and then worked for three years as screenwriter and script-editor for Italian productions. In 2014 he attended the Basic Direction Course at the National Film School in Rome (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia).

He worked as director and production assistant on several film and TV sets in Berlin, where he has been living since 2012. Under the brand Latteplus (www.latteplusproduction.com), of which he is a founding partner since 2017, he produces films of various genres and formats and provides Production and Location Management services.

In 2019 he produced the animated movie Butterflies in Berlin in collaboration with RAI CINEMA and financed by MIBACT, Emilia Romagna Film Commission and BKM. The movie has won several awards all over the world and has been selected in more than 100 festivals. It was the protagonist of many initiatives for the Settimana della Memoria in Italy and Germany. It is listed on the catalogue of the digital platforms RAI-Play in Italy and Here Tv in the USA.

In 2020, the feature documentary Space Beyond, an essay documentary set on the International Space Station, was produced in collaboration with NASA, ESA and Roscosmos. It was broadcasted by Sky Arte, it’s on the catalogue of NowTV, Sooner and Vod360 in all Europe. Space Beyond has been shortlisted for Nastri D’Argento (Italy's most important critics' award) and was the opening film at the documentary section of Taormina Film Festival 2021.
