Market Screening: Kurtág Fragments
-
György Kurtág, one of the most influential contemporary composers, the last great figure of the post-war avant-garde, remains vibrantly creative. Kurtág Fragments follows his emotional and artistic journey through key places like Transylvania, Budapest, Prussia Cove, and Paris - where his magnum opus, Fin de Partie premiered in 2022. Featuring Víkingur Ólafsson, Steven Isserlis, and Pierre-Laurent Aimard, the film captures how raw emotions become music - a poetic portrait of a timeless artist.
