Anders Lindstad

Anders Lindstad is a director and producer based in Oslo, Norway. He specializes in music documentaries, concert films and creative productions for the Norwegian and international markets. He has worked in the industry for 25 years, owns and runs the production company Peiling Film & TV and has worked for different independent production companies and the NRK. The documentary series and concert special "She Composes Like a Man" (SVT / international distribution by EuroArts) was directed and produced by Lindstad. The series highlights orchestral music composed by women and was nominated for the Rose d´Or in the Arts category. Lindstad has a cand.philol degree in Media Studies and German Studies from the University of Oslo. He very much enjoys picking up his musical instruments including a cello, a double bass, Fender and Rickenbacker bass guitars, to play in different orchestras, ensembles and bands. Currently Lindstad is developing a project focusing on the women and men of the Leipzig salons that were stars and outsiders in the Romantic era, and still have a huge impact on how we perceive classical music today.
