About me
Born London, Luke O’Shaughnessy started his career working as the administrator of several contemporary music festivals including Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in the North of England and Ars Musica in Brussels. Between 2002 and 2008, Luke worked as director of RESEO (European Network for Opera and Dance Education). Based in France since 2009, Luke worked for four years as Secretary General of the Opéra de Dijon. Since 2014, Luke has been working for Opera Europa, the leading professional service provider for opera houses and festivals in Europe. Over the last 10 years, Luke has overseen the development of Opera Europa’s freeview streaming platform. Today, thanks to the unwavering support since day one of the European Commission's Creative Europe programme,OperaVision offers new weekly, live and on-demand streams from opera houses across Europe to audiences in their ten of thousands everyday worldwide.
