Since 1976 Clasart Classic has been producing and presenting unique works of classical music. In the early years, timeless and still outstanding recordings were made with Glenn Gould, Mstislav Rostropovich and Vladimir Horowitz. Since 2010, Clasart Classic has also distributed the entire TV rights catalog of the Metropolitan Opera worldwide. This includes not only historical recordings with legendary opera stars such as Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, Jessye Norman, Christa Ludwig or Mirella Freni. There are also about 170 HD-recorded operas from recent years, performed by the crème de la crème of contemporary opera stars like Lise Davidsen, Piotr Beczala, Aigul Akhmetshina, Elina Garanca, Benjamin Bernheim or Joyce DiDonato.
